My Right to Vote – Help?
Posted by Lee Wilkins | Filed under: Politics
As a citizen of Romania, I am, off course, given the great pleasure of being able to vote in the up and coming elections
My understanding of the Romanian language is very limited, I understand little bits. So I am asking my dear friends in this fine country…
Who should I vote for? / Why?
May 28 2008
probably nobody … why ? because I have no reason for voting for some1 in particular. If I were to feel compelled to vote, for whatever reason, I would probably vote for Oprescu coz it’s playing it difrentlly then the others. But … I’m still thinking if I should bother to go and vote. I voted every time since I was 18 years old and probably this will be the first time I will skip the vote.

Go with the one who’s got the biggest house and the most cars! He won’t be so tempted to steal, since he’s got plenty.

@cti97: dude, pardon me but that counts -1 from you and +1 from the other who decides to vote instead. there aren’t any fair choices. but there must be someone with the right skills that can move things in Bucharest (at least, a little). let’s look at ppl’s skills rather than what they did or others say they did (without proof). some are major frogheads, yeah. but maybe -maybe- if you kiss a vote on one of the less froggy, something good happens. for all.

@anonymous – ok then – tell me … I said I will vote for Oprescu. What should I choose for sector 6 and for the councils ? If Oprescu returns to PSD then who will vote for him will feel cheated. If he will not return and win, he will have no support. At the sectors, if there will be from other partys they will not go well and things will go wrong, and there is always the excuse that “the sector council did not support me”. So you see … there’s nothing to choose from. There will be as it was. Things will get done, but only in election years and under a lot of pressure, no matter who it is at the top.
