Forget Milk

Many people may know I blogged over at leewilkins.com some time ago, it was a personal haven, so to speak….

Then again, many people don’t know me at all!

So why? Why start again?

Its not because I have plenty of time on my hands. In fact its the complete opposite. I have no time. But I have the urge to start again. (un)fortunately, I am a believer in sharing knowledge.

My life has not always been plain-sailing for me. On and off, its been fucking shit for me, both from a professional and personal point of view. But its the way you deal with the shit times that make you a better person. I sit here now, writing this, knowing that I have learnt from those times. Applying that ‘education’ into something more constructive lets say.

I am not going to sit here and bullshit you, during these good times (I’d say the best part of two years) that there were some fucking terrible times. But, again, apply what you’ve learnt, and you become a better person.

Fuck the preaching, I have not let anyone knock me down. Regardless of who they are.

Which takes me nicely into the important “why?” here. Why ForgetMilk? Why the name?

For me, it was simple. People have, and will, probably continue to take advantage of me, because of my age. Yes, I am 25.

When growing up, people would always take the piss out of me, “ah, give the kid some milk”, “want some milk for lunch?” etc etc… I always shrugged it off, to prove that, in the future, I will make it…

So, in a nutshell, here I will write about my experiences, what I have learnt, and share my knowledge.
